Are you passionate about food and bringing people together? FOCUS Connect is seeking a Cook & Taste Volunteer Facilitator to share your love of international food, teaching recipes and cooking techniques while enjoying great conversation over a shared meal.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and lead simple cooking demonstrations or shared cooking sessions
• Teach recipes and cooking techniques suited to a group setting
• Encourage conversation and connection during sessions
• Ensure food safety and hygiene practices are followed

What we are looking for:

• Chefs, hospitality teachers, caterers, bakers, passionate home cooks, or food lovers who enjoy teaching others
• Friendly, patient and encouraging manner
• Basic food safety awareness

Requirements:

• Driver's Licence (C)
• National Police Certificate
• Working with Children Check
